Alan Hollingsworth, having spent over twenty years in the corporate and trust service provider industry, founded Mann Made in 2005 for clients wanting to build long term business relationships with likeminded experienced and able people. Alan's particular areas of expertise are corporate structuring and banking. Alan has an intuitive understanding of clients' needs and the ability to ensure the delivery of effective solutions within agreed deadlines. Mark Cundy is a Chartered Accountant and tax specialist and joined Mann Made as Tax Director in 2007. A graduate from the London School of Economics, Mark developed his tax expertise at Price Waterhouse. Prior to joining Mann Made, Mark was the Head of Taxation for one of the largest multijurisdictional trust companies in the world. Mark thrives on solving complex tax problems and has been instrumental in structuring several multinational groups and partnerships. Mark plays squash for the Mann Made sponsored squash team in the Isle of Man league and likes to keep fit through cycling. Sue Brown is a co-founder and has specialised in corporate and trust services for over twenty years working for trust companies in both London and the Isle of Man. Sue is now Head of Operations for Mann Made and her management and organisational skills are vital to the efficient running of the group. Sue enjoys socializing with a large network of her friends, she loves travelling and babysitting her little nephew. Sue also enjoys Crime novels and dramas. She is trying to go to the gym more. Marian Ashcroft is Head of Accounting and Tax Compliance. Marian has spent over 20 years in corporate tax and accounting as well as spending time as a senior company administrator. Her all round experience of accounting and audit, VAT and company administration has given her the necessary tools to provide clients with accurate advice and the documentation they need in a timely manner. David Cathersides is a finance specialist heading up our London office. A Certified Accountant, he qualified and gained most of his experience within international banking in both Australia and the UK. David has a particular knowledge of one off transactional business and his attention to detail makes him ideal for complex hands-on advice and assistance. David is a keen cyclist, not least braving the London traffic on a daily basis to get to the office, and counts windsurfing, regular visits to the cinema, reading and DIY amongst his other recreational pursuits. Andrew Gilfillan is a Senior Manager in our London office, responsible for the administration services provided to our clients. Andrew has 4 years relevant experience in offshore industry and 5 years experience in life assurance and banking prior to this. Originally from Glasgow, Andrew graduated with BA(Hons) in Information Management from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, and currently completing his ICSA professional qualification. Andrew spends his spare time either in London or at his home in the Isle of Man, and interests include the theatre, the arts, hill walking and also motorcycle racing, although purely as a spectator. Dina Hill joined the Mann Made team in January 2008 as a Company Administrator with particular reference to Russia and Eastern European clients. Dina is a fluent Russian speaker and is responsible for business development in Russia and CIS. She has recently obtained the CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing. Oliver Kean is our Compliance Officer, he is responsible for overseeing our compliance with all regulatory requirements. Oliver has over 8 years working experience within the compliance field. Prior to joining Mann Made Oliver worked for a leading trust company on the Island. Oliver holds a number of compliance qualifications and is a full member of the International Compliance Association. Oliver's experience and knowledge of the regulatory environment is vital in maintaining the effective management of compliance and regulatory risk. Edward Gumbley joined Mann Made in November 2010 as a Senior Company Administrator with 7 years' experience within the corporate services industry. He has a professional qualification from the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA), has experience with administering companies in various jurisdictions and structures and recognises the importance of providing an efficient and client-focussed service. Richard Hazzard is a Company Administrator and helps manage a variety of different companies in our London office. Richard joined Mann Made in April 2008. Prior to Mann Made Richard worked as a Customer Service Officer at a leading insurance company. Richard is currently studying for his Institute of Chartered Secretary Association exams. Richard was a competitive swimmer, being the Surrey county 100m backstroke champion for 2 years running (2004/2005). He also enjoys playing water polo and attended the Junior England water polo camp in 2001. Daniel Rose is the youngest member of the Tax team working with Mark and Marian, having gained a 2:1 degree in Accountancy. Before starting his degree Daniel served in the British Army for 5 years. Prior to joining Mann Made he worked in the finance sector for a leading Independent Financial Advisor. Daniel is currently studying towards his ACCA qualification. Rebecca Venn joined the Mann Made Team in 2006 after graduating from Bristol University of the West of England with a degree in Business Management. Since joining Mann Made, Rebecca has enjoyed working with direct clients within our trust division. Carolyn Van Den Berg joined the Mann Made taem in August 2009. Carolyn is primarily responsible for the day to day running of payroll solutions, which is a side of the business that is currently seeing rapid growth. Carolyn brings to the business valuable experience in payroll, accounts and recruitment. Carolyn has owned and competed horses for most of her life both on the island and in the UK and although no longer competes she still enjoys hacking around the countryside at weekends.
