Mark Cundy
Principal and Group Tax Director

Mark is our Tax Director and one of the principals of the Mann Made Group having joined Alan Hollingsworth and Sue Brown at Mann Made in 2007. Mark is a Graduate Chartered Accountant with over thirty years working experience and twenty seven years experience as a tax specialist.

Mark provides taxation support to the Client Services Team and tax advice to our global clients and intermediaries. Mark is a specialist in UK and international tax and deals directly with our more complex clients in structuring their affairs.

Mark also holds a number of key fiduciary responsibilities including that of Financial Director of a multi-million pound property development group and is joint trustee of several of our client's large family trusts

Sue Brown
Principal and Operations Director

Sue is one of the principals of the Mann Made Group, having joined Alan Hollingsworth to establish Mann Made Corporate Services Limited in 2005. Sue has over twenty years' experience working within the global trust and corporate services arena.

Sue has overall responsibility for all group financial matters as well as Human Resources, and statutory compliance of the Group. Sue is also responsible for managing the strategic, operational and financial risks of the Group companies and works closely with our compliance manager to manage compliance risk.

Alongside this, Sue still maintains an active role in the provision of corporate services to our clients and holds a number of key fiduciary responsibilities including that of director of a multi-million pound property development group.

Marian Ashcroft
Client Services Director

Marian is Client Services Director for the Group, bringing over twenty years' experience working in both the private sector and the global trust and corporate services arena.

Marian's key responsibilities include the oversight of the Corporate, Accountancy and Employment solutions divisions of the Group. Marian is actively involved in the development and implementation of tax driven structures for our clients as well as holding a number of key fiduciary positions for client entities.

Marian also assists our teams and our clients to identify potential issues with structures (both pre and post implementation) and provides workable solutions to ensure the structures remain compliant and robust.

Marian has considerable VAT and Tax experience and provides assistance on cross-border transactions, inter-EU trading and other complex VAT issues.

Marian is a member of the ATT, the AAT and holds an ICSA Diploma in Offshore Finance and Administration.

David Cathersides
Director - UK

Having set up the London operation for Mann Made Group during 2007 and run it through its early years of development, David has more recently taken a back seat and now acts as a consultant to the Group. This has the dual benefit of retaining David's skills and experience within the Group whilst affording him more time to further develop his other business interests.

David is a Certified Accountant who qualified within an international banking group and worked extensively within the UK and Australia. He gained a broad range of financial experience and in particular developed an eye for detail enabling him to provide complex hands-on advice and assistance in relation to one-off transactional business.

Andrew Gilfillan
Director - UK

Andrew, having joined the Group in the Isle of Man during 2009, was identified to assist then succeed David Cathersides in running the London Office and relocated in 2010. A part-qualified Chartered Secretary, Andrew, who has over ten years experience working in both the onshore and offshore financial industries, has a BA Hons in Information Management.

In addition to the day to day responsibility for delivering services to clients of the UK operation, Andrew manages the client and intermediary relationships.

Being responsible also for business development in London, Andrew has a strong understanding of the needs of UK and European clients and travels regularly to meet existing and potential clients.

In addition to his business development role, Gareth manages a portfolio of entities for global clients, specifically in the yachting sector. Gareth also attends Yachting exhibitions across the world including our annual presence at the Monaco boat show.

Gareth's key responsibilities include meeting clients and advising them on the specific structures to suit their requirements and on the specific needs of each jurisdiction and flag state. Gareth also works closely with our Tax team in developing and implementing complex VAT ownership structures for the importation and leasing of private and commercial vessels.

Gareth is also responsible for management of the Group's yachting and marine personnel employment structures.

Dina Hill
Marketing and Business Development Officer

Dina is Marketing and Business Development Officer for the Group, working closely with the Group Managing Director to grow our business of core and niche services.

Dina has a BA (Hons) in Modern Languages from Kazan University in Russia and as well as her native Russian language, Dina is fluent in English and also speaks German.

One of Dina's key roles is that of relationship manager for a number of our Russian clients and she is often the first point of contact following new business enquiries.

She often travels to meet new and existing clients with a view to assisting them with the establishment of their corporate structures.

Dina qualified with the Chartered Institute of Marketing in 2011.

Edward Gumbley
Head of Corporate Services
Edward is Head of Corporate Services for the Group with responsibility for the day-to-day operation and management of the corporate services team. Edward is a qualified Chartered Secretary with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA).

Edward has specific expertise in company secretarial and statutory matters for many onshore and offshore jurisdictions and manages the administration of complex tax-driven structures, including real estate holding companies owning properties worth in excess of £10 million.

Edward also holds key fiduciary positions including directorships on client companies with activities ranging from property holding and consultancy to yacht leasing. These positions include responsibility for maintaining effective corporate governance and compliance with local legislation and external regulations and keeping up-to-date with changes to legislation, taxation and the regulatory environment.

Edward also works to develop relationships with third parties, intermediaries and clients as well as ensuring the corporate services team provides an outstanding, efficient and friendly service to all clients.

Michael Edge
Senior Administrator, Corporate Services

Michael is a Senior Administrator within the Corporate Services team and has over 12 years' experience in managing and administrating a significant portfolio of client structures, as well as being relationship contact for a number of the Group's key clients.

Michael has a strong background in the fiduciary and client facing elements of the global corporate services market. Michael manages a number of complex global structures of significant value, including a European trading operation with £multi-million turnovers. Michael is also responsible for the administration of complex company structures to include significant property and consultancy interests.

Valeria Vale
Senior Administrator, Corporate Services

Valeria joined Mann Made as a senior administrator in our corporate team. Valeria graduated from Moscow State Institute of International Relations where she read International Law with modern European languages and has over twelve years’ experience working within international trade and the corporate services industry in the Isle of Man..

Valeria has responsibility over a portfolio of international clients with a variety of assets and deals with all aspects of the portfolio and client relationship management. Apart from Russian and English Valeria speaks fluent Spanish and French.

James Craig
Junior Administrator, Corporate Services

James is a Junior Administrator within the Corporate Services team and is primarily responsible for providing administration support to the team.

James is responsible for maintaining and updating the statutory records database for client entities and for the preparation of resolutions and minutes detailing actions of the directors.

James is also responsible for the input of payments for authorisation by key staff as directed by the team.

Alyson Egan
Bookkeeper/ Company Administrator

Alyson works in the corporate service team providing company administration and bookkeeping support having gained several years' experience in rental and commercial property structures prior to joining Mann Made. Alyson has a wide background in the offshore financial sector previously being employed in banking and treasury roles before moving into corporate service sector.

Alyson is currently studying for the ACCA exams.

Richard Hazzard
Senior Company Administrator - London

Richard is a Senior Company Administrator in our London office with over 5 years' experience in the onshore and offshore financial services industry. Richard is also responsible for the day to day administration of one of our employment solutions companies and has a strong background in the administration and client facing elements of this market.

Dmitry Spitsyn
Head of Trust Services

Dmitry is Head of Trust Services for the Group and has over 20 years' experience working in the public and private sectors as well as the international financial services market. He is an economist in international economic relations, a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and has recently further developed his STEP qualification by passing an Advanced STEP Certificate in Trust Disputes.

Dmitry is responsible for the day to day management of the Trust and Foundations operations and for dealing with complex structures established in various jurisdictions.

Rebecca Venn
Senior Administrator, Trust Services

Rebecca has more than six years' experience in managing complex trust structures and family offices. Rebecca primarily liaises with private clients, their professional advisors, banks, investment companies and the Trustees ensuring that the Trusts and their underlying companies are managed to the highest standard, regardless of their size and asset value. 

In 2006, Rebecca graduated with a BA in Equine Business Management from Bristol University of the West of England.

She is currently studying for her ICSA Diploma in Offshore Finance and Administration.

Jenni Heinikoski
Administrator, Trust Services

Jenni has more than four years' experience in international trust and corporate environment. She is responsible for her own global portfolios of clients with complex business requirements.  In addition to her native Finnish, Jenni speaks fluent English and also speaks Swedish, German and Spanish.

Jenni has over four years of experience at all levels of administration. She also has expertise in the administration of complex trust and company structures.

Jenni is working towards becoming a Trust and Estates Practitioner (TEP) and so far she has completed the Foundation Certificate in International Trust Management and the Advanced Certificate in Trust Administration and Accounts.

Denise Sheard
Tax Manager

Denise has over 20 years’ experience working in UK and IOM tax, having worked for 10 years for a UK top ten accountancy firm before transferring in 2008 to its Isle of Man subsidiary, a trust and corporate services provider.

Denise manages the UK and Isle of Man tax and VAT compliance function. Denise’s well-rounded knowledge of UK and Isle of Man tax enables her to provide timely responses to technical tax queries from colleagues and clients and also to assist the Tax Director in providing innovative tax solutions.

Denise has been a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation since 2003 and is also AAT and ATT qualified

Daniel Rose
Tax Assistant

Daniel Rose is a Tax Assistant and is responsible for the preparation and filing of corporate and private client tax documentation.

Daniel also works closely with the Tax Managers to assist in the research, development and implementation of tax driven structures for our global clients. He also has a natural talent for Business Development and has been key to developing relationships with local associates.

Daniel holds a BA (Hons) in Accountancy from the University of Bolton.

He is a part qualified accountant (ACCA) and upon obtaining this qualification, he intends to study for the CTA (Chartered Tax Advisor) exams.

Dean McClure
Head of Accounting

Dean is Head of Accounting and manages our team of accounting and book-keeping staff who work to prepare client accounts and financial statements. Dean has extensive knowledge and experience of international financial accounting, especially Swiss business.

Dean is responsible for the management of the accounting team and our multi-jurisdictional client portfolio to ensure financial statements are filed with the relevant authorities on time and that management accounts and other information are prepared on a timely basis.

Dean is also responsible for reviewing the company taxation computations prior to forwarding to tax team for finalisation and works closely with the team to provide assistance in tax matters and complex auditing issues.

Paul Surgeon
Accountant

Paul works within the accounting team to prepare the financial statements for a wide range of multi-jurisdictional trusts and companies. Paul has over ten years experience of working in the offshore financial sector and a good understanding of the complexities involved in the financial reporting of cross-border transactions.

Paul is also responsible for the financial administration of a number of our clients trading and property development operations, including the preparation of timely and accurate financial management reports, debtor management and covenant analysis.

Paul is currently studying for the ACCA exams.

Alex Gale
Accountant

Alex works within the accounting team to prepare the financial statements for a range of multi-jurisdictional companies and trusts. Alex has over ten years experience of working in the corporate and trust services sector on the Isle of Man and understands the complexities involved in cross-border transactions.

Alex is responsible for the preparation of financial statements for trading and investment holding companies, including high-volume trading companies.

He is also responsible for completing VAT returns and Non-Resident Landlord returns for these companies.

Carolyn Van Den Berg
Senior Payroll Administrator

Carolyn works within our employment solutions division and is responsible for the meticulous administration of several employment solutions companies; including the Group's own companies and those that we manage on behalf of clients.

Carolyn has extensive knowledge and experience of UK and Isle of Man payroll operations as well as the offshore recruitment industry.

In 1998, Carolyn graduated from the University of Central Lancashire with a BA (Hons) in Organisational Studies and Health Studies.

Diane Hollingsworth
Operations Assistant

Diane is Operations Assistant for the Group and is responsible for the maintenance and organisation of our internal electronic and hard copy filing systems. Diane is highly organised and efficient and is key to the delivery of our service by ensuring that correspondence is logged, prioritised and cascaded in a timely manner.

Diane also provides assistance to the Board and the Compliance Officer on an ongoing basis.

Sue Keown
Group Accountant

Sue has over 20 years' experience in accountancy and has joined Mann Made as our Group accountant.

Sue deals with the day to day financial requirements of the Group and our associated and subsidiary companies, including day to day book keeping, dealing with customers and suppliers as well as credit control and the monitoring of client monies. Sue will also prepare the annual financial statements and tax returns for our Group and provide regular management information to the Board.
